The Fatherhood Foundation is a tax deductible entity and harm prevention charity fully authorised by the Australian government which has developed a solid track record of achievement. The Fatherhood Foundation has played an historic role in the work of restoring and strengthening Australian fathers. We invite you to work with us to turn the tide of fatherlessness by promoting excellence in fathering. Our goal is to make excellence in fathering the norm of everyday life in Australia and be a fatherhood resource for the rest of the world. The Fatherhood Foundation believes that promoting excellence in fathering is the most cost effective way to reduce the risk of harm and abusive behaviours within the broader community. Your financial and practical support is greatly appreciated. Our children deserve the best - why not give it to them?

Cedars Christian College is a vibrant and progressive learning community that is dedicated to leading your child forward throughout the most important years of their life.

Cedars is a Prep to Year 12 school located just 10 kilometres south of Wollongong in the heart of the beautiful Illawarra. Cedars’ commitment to education begins by surrounding our students in a safe and trusted environment, where Christian values are evident in all we do. It’s positive learning where potential isn’t just recognised, it’s nurtured, and where leadership development doesn’t apply to some, but empowers all. It’s intentional thinking that results in leading students forward by equipping them to go further in life. And as they do, they’ll be impacting the world around them.

Let us be United

The launch of City Women Illawarra saw over 200 women from different churches across the region come together to be UNITED. As well as enjoying a scrumptious and beautifully arranged High Tea the ladies heard a powerful and motivating message from Letitia Shelton, founder of City Women Toowoomba. While some of the content may have been confronting, the message Letitia brought home is that it is our job to work together and get out there to make the city a safer and better place.

As well as a mobilizing message, City Women Illawarra threw out the challenge to anyone who was willing to invest in the future of the girls of our region by funding the start-up of Shine in new schools. We were overwhelmed by the response and are looking forward to establishing this life changing program in as many as 7 schools across the region in the near future. We also have a list of passionate and motivated volunteers ready to work together for the betterment of our region, and we look forward to hosting a workshop on establishing and running Shine programs.

The vision of City Women Illawarra is to facilitate a network of women working together for the betterment of the city. We believe our launch event UNITED was the start of this process and can’t wait to see where God leads us on this journey. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, talents and support to making UNITED such a wonderful event … and thank you to all the City Women who attended.

We look forward to working with you in the future for the betterment of the Illawarra.

Launch – September 2014

Letitia SheltonCity Women Illawarra is connecting women with vision for the needs of the community. Women who want the tools and resources to make a difference in their own city, and a positive impact across the Illawarra region.

Our first event will introduce Letitia Shelton, founder of City Women Toowoomba. Letitia and her team work tirelessly to encourage, empower and value the women and girls of Toowoomba. Starting with the Shine program in schools across the region, City Women Toowoomba has expanded to include a popular full-colour magazine called “Bella”, which encourages young women to be who they are and provides an alternative to explicit modern day magazines.

Another great ministry is the Girls Getaway. This weekend away engages young women from 12 to 15 years of age, where they can experience fun, friendship and acceptance. It creates an environment which acts as a vehicle for building positive attitudes for life.

These are just two examples of the amazing work of City Women Toowoomba.

Please join us in September 2014 for the launch. (The exact location and date will be announced soon.)
